How would you describe yourself in less than 100 words?
=> I am an aspiring psychologist with the desire to assist others reach their best potential and thrive with it, in University I was able to engage with students whom in the end became my friends, this increased my learning skills and outlined my abilities to function in both challenging and educating organizations of which can be of beneficial to the psychological profession I am pursuing. I am hardworking individual with both abilities and qualities to thrive and be patient in challenging situations. I am an ambitious and a go-getter with vision to change others for the better.

The degree I am holding made me realize that psychology is not only about me obtaining the qualification but being present to clients and putting yourself in their shoes with empathy and in-depth understanding of their problems, for me this is a calling and a great career field of which will help me reach out to tat one child out there who is about to give up in their life because of challenged they are encountering on their daily lives. Coming from a poor background and rural community with a lack of knowledge and understanding in mental health issues has inspired me to pursue the career in clinical psychology.

Where do you see yourself in the next 5-10 years?
=> I see my self with as psychologist assisting various people with mental health problems.

Are you involved in any extra-curricular activities/side hustles? if so, can you tell us about them.
=> No

What has been your proudest achievement to date?
=> Passing my psychology degree in record time.


If you could change one thing in South Africa and make it better, what would it be?
=> I would create more opportunities for the youth to reduce unemployment in South Africa .
