Atlehang

My name is Atlehang and I study at the university of the Witwatersrand (school of governance). I am currently doing volunteer work at the SAfm as a social and political commentator, debate coaching, pursuing my studies and I am a debater myself. My hobbies includes debating, reading and writing.

My interests includes doing volunteer work, I enjoy working with others to actively impact other peoples lives. I was a volunteer for a non-profit organization name YLED. I used to help grade 11 students with life and entrepreneurial skills. I was awarded for being the best mentor and I also do debate coaching for high school students. I was also awarded for being one of the best coaches as someone who had coached a team that progressed to the semi-finals of the Gauteng provincials debating championships.

I am interested in travelling and have been given the opportunity to do so during my years of debating. My accomplishments are as follows ; I have won the biggest tournaments on the continent, made it to at least five debating open finals and have also finished my class as part of the 90th percentile in the grade for my postgraduate studies.

I am passionate about public policy and would I would like to see all people from minority groups being given access to better public policies. My future goal is to accomplish my studies and work for the legislative government so I can be able to influence such decisions and ensure that the people from minority groups are protected.
